SPCS’s Personal Counselling Service offers the opportunity to discuss and work though personal issues with a qualified counsellor or psychologist. Staffed by qualified volunteers the service provides counselling to people in crisis who need immediate assistance to address their issues. The Personal Counselling service is free and available to people who would not otherwise have the opportunity or means to see a personal counsellor. For people needing longer term assistance or counselling around specific issues referrals are made to other free or low cost services in the local community.
